Description of Classes
BALLET
We supply I.S.T.D. Ballet training at the school. Starting with Primary Ballet right up to Major exam grades ready for your teaching exams should you wish to take them.We recommend that children start ballet at approx 3 and a half at the earliest. Before that time it is far more difficult for young children to concentrate for the whole length of the class.
Students wear I.S.T.D uniform. Girls wear hair in buns, we expect all students to wear uniform. We have lots of boys taking ballet class at the school, and the older boys tend to take Company Ballet Class. Ballet is the core of all dance styles, and is so beneficial to all the training we supply.
OTHER STYLES OF DANCE
We also supply Modern Exams at the school. This year we received the very highest grades for modern exams (which we are very proud of) with students achieving Distinctions 97/96 out of 100 marks.We also teach, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial, Tap, classes.
GUEST SATURDAYS
On a Saturday between April to December we have a different Guest Tutors teach Dance every week. So almost every style is covered. So we have covered recently, Hip Hop, Dance Hall, Street, Jazz, Locking, Freestyle, Commercial, Latin, Ballet, etc. Our guest tutors are from hit shows such as: So You Think You Can Dance (finalists) Choreographers from X Factor, Britain's Got Talent, The Voice, and major TV programmes.We also have Artistes teach from top shows such as: Thriller, Legally Blonde, Shrek, Grease, Footloose, Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppin, Sister Act, Chitty, Chitty Bang Bang, Les Miserables, Fame, Hairspray, High School Musical, Starlight Express, Chicago, West Side Story, Tap Dogs, Swan Lake (Matthew Bourne) and lots more.
Also Dancers (Leads and Featured) for artistes such as: Kylie, Jesse J, Janet Jackson, Peter Andre, Rhianna, Cheryl Cole, The Saturdays, Beth Ditto, Black Eyed Peas, Sean Paul, Nicole Scherzinger, as well as Film and TV - Hellcats, Streetdance 1 & 2, Camp Rock.
DRAMA
Our drama department is second to none. We have an amazing team of tutors teaching you, covering every aspect of drama from Acting for the Camera, cold reading, method acting, improvisation the list is endless. We have been named by industry professionals as one of the leading training schools in the UK. Our Drama credits include Maisie Smith (Tiffany in Eastender's). Maisie has been at the school from Wannabees days when she was 4 years of age. She trains every week at the school. Bobby Lockwood (House of Anubis) who has been a student since age 7, has only just left training at the school to go into House of Anubis. But still comes in on a regular basis.We offer LAMDA classes and examinations, and also coaching to prepare you for Drama Colleges such as RADA, LAMDA, CENTRAL, etc.
Not only do we offer classes for our students age 6 to 18 we also provide drama classes called WANNABEES to our young students age 4-6 years on a Saturday. Along with Adult Drama Classes, for age 16+ on a Wednesday evening. More information on the website.

VOCAL COACHING
We have a great singing department. Our vocal coaches are highly skilled with the very best professional qualifications. The main classes on a Saturday are working on technique, group singing, harmony etc. Also, we offer different styles from Musical Theatre, Pop, Opera, etc.Private lessons are also supplied to students. We specialise on working one to one to prepare you for entry for performing arts colleges, to continue your training.
