Singer Stage School at WesleyNow a member of the National Association of Youth Theatres
In January 2007 'Singer Stage School' which is based in Leigh on Sea, in Essex became a part-time (semi vocational) training school. We operate Monday, Tuesday Wednesday evenings and all day Saturday. We are one of the leading and most respected training establishments in the UK. Our client list says it all - so you don't have to take our word for it? We take our training very seriously.
Our students have won awards through performances including Best Dramatic Scene in British Soap Awards 2009, and Best Charity Commercial in the U.K. for N.S.P.C.C. and many more. We are always being asked to supply artistes for very emotive issues.
The school trains students from age 4 to 18 years of age, (subject to audition from age 6). Our training is structured with the view of 'Performing Arts' being a possible career choice for the student. Examination classes for Dance and Drama are also supplied at the school.
The company is run under the personal supervision of Sandra who attends weekly. Who makes sure that her tutors and staff (CRB checked and First Aid trained) are some of the very best working professionals in the industry. We take 'emotional support' very seriously too. The school has also benefited from healthy eating workshops, and food sampling.
Sandra likes to know all her students well, so she knows first hand about the strengths and capabilities of the individual student, for when she submits them for casting breakdowns.
We also like to make sure that students are keep grounded and natural throughout the process. The performing arts training is run alongside the students attending local academic schools. To enable them to maintain the highest level of academic training available to them, which is very important especially in later life. We prefer and encourage students to continue with exam work and leave academic school at 18 years of age. With good qualifications behind them.
The school often has casting directors attend classes to workshop students. We are delighted to have worked on some of the most fantastic projects for Young Performers over the last 10 years. We supplied Elizabeth I through casting at the school for the feature film, 'The Other Boleyn Girl' and recently "Sherlock Holmes 2" as the pianist/actress in a cameo role with Robert Downey Junior.
Hope you enjoy looking through the information.
CONNOR BRABYN"Sandra Singer's is truly an exceptional institution to develop your skills ready for the professional world. I have been attending Sandra Singer Stage School for four years and in that time i have met some lifelong friends and been taught by some truly amazing people.
I have recently auditioned and been accepted into a top London college for Performing Arts, The Urdang Academy. Where I will continue my training, eventually I see myself on the West End and on Television and Film.
Sandra has also been my Agent and I could not have asked for a better person to take that job. I am constantly going to London for auditions; I have achieved various roles through Sandie including lead Actor in Music Videos, Commercials, lead roles in Films and much more. I have a close relationship to Sandie and she is always there if I need advice or help in anything be it professional or personal. I cannot recommend strongly enough Sandra Singers, she is a great mentor and has helped me achieve all my goals, I owe everything to Sandie and her amazing staff, Thank you so much!"
THOMASIN LOCKWOOD"I have attended Sandra Singer Stage School for two years, and in that time not only has it transformed me as a performer, but also as a person. Sandie and her exceptional staff are really committed to bringing out the best in you; it is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere reinforced by the talent and passion in the school for performing arts.
Sandie is there every Saturday, happy to give one-to-one advice should you ask of it. Her insight to the industry prepared me well for college auditions.
Now after gaining a place at one of the top Musical Theatre colleges Arts Educational, I can gladly say it is down to the amazing opportunities to improve myself at the stage school from its teachers plus meeting guest tutors that come from a variety of expertise in the industry.
I feel very lucky to have been a part of the stage school that has motivated me to work hard, as I'm now rewarded with a brilliant college and a wonderful agent!"

Just wanted to let you know that all your boys were fantastic last week and I put every single one of them on the short list tape for Jill. My fav's from you were Kai Belcher, Joe Benjamin and Adam Robertson but Jill just felt they felt they looked a little too old on camera now. They were such fantastic suggestions Sandra and all of the boys worked really hard in the session for me - you should feel very proud of them . The standard of your children is outstanding."

Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness. I must say you are such a wonderful woman to work with. Out of all the dance schools Mofiyin has been to since she was 3 you have exceeded them all in all ways.
It's been a great pleasure for us and we as parent of Mofiyin have had a great time too. Mofiyin speaks so highly of you and all the teachers.
