AUDITIONS FOR 2010 ARE NOW CLOSED

We are now accepting applications for SUMMER SHOOL 2010. To apply complete our application form and send to the return address.

In January 2007 'Singer Stage School' which is based in Leigh on Sea, in Essex became a part-time (semi vocational) training school. We operate Monday, Tuesday Wednesday evenings and all day Saturday. We are one of the leading and most respected training establishments in the UK. Our client list says it all - so you don't have to take our word for it? We take our training very seriously.

Our students have won awards through performances including Best Dramatic Scene in British Soap Awards 2009, and Best Charity Commercial in the U.K. for N.S.P.C.C. and many more. We are always being asked to supply artistes for very emotive issues.

The school trains students from age 4 to 18 years of age, (subject to audition from age 6). Our training is structured with the view of 'Performing Arts' being a possible career choice for the student. Examination classes for Dance and Drama are also supplied at the school.

The company is run under the personal supervision of Sandra who attends weekly. Who makes sure that her tutors and staff (CRB checked and First Aid trained) are some of the very best working professionals in the industry. We take 'emotional support' very seriously too. The school has also benefited from healthy eating workshops, and food sampling.

Sandra likes to know all her students well, so she knows first hand about the strengths and capabilities of the individual student, for when she submits them for casting breakdowns.

We also like to make sure that students are keep grounded and natural throughout the process. The performing arts training is run alongside the students attending local academic schools. To enable them to maintain the highest level of academic training available to them, which is very important especially in later life. We prefer and encourage students to continue with exam work and leave academic school at 18 years of age. With good qualifications behind them.

The school often has casting directors attend classes to workshop students. We are delighted to have worked on some of the most fantastic projects for Young Performers over the last 10 years. We supplied Elizabeth I through casting at the school for the feature film 'The Other Boleyn Girl'

Hope you enjoy looking through the information.
